Educational technology has captured classroom teaching To-day’s classroom is totally different from the classroom of the past. To-day the teacher is well-versed in the art of teaching. He has mastered many teaching skills. Although  the blackboard remains the best means of effective teaching, he has numerous other modes, both visual and audio, at his ready command. The primary stage is the first stage of formal education. The children are required to acquire certain standards of learning. If the teaching-learning environment is not congenial, children are likely to develop dislike for the school. Educational technology can be of great help to the primary school teachers. With the knowledge of educational technology, the teachers can develop play-methods and materials for maintaining children’s interest. The use of toys and games can make routine teaching interesting.
